Still working through my hesitation issues
The car doesn't really die anymore since the dealer "cleared the codes" but it still hesitates after startup and for the second time in about month, it has almost died in the same spot on the same road.
It's a very sharp turn where I have to let off the gas and slow down to about 10 mph. When I accelerate out of that turn there is absolutely no power for about a second and either the ESP light or the security light comes on--it happens so briefly, I can't tell which one. I'm assumning it's the ESP.
Does this sound remotely familiar to anyone? I'm getting frustrated and about to just buy a MAF on my own.

If that fixes the problem you've found that ESP is doing it but then you might ask should it?
You don't say what codes were cleared. They could be implausable signals from the accelerometers or the steering wheel position sensors. Others have reported failures of these. Something to look into.
