World Impex sold me used shocks!!

I bought some OEM rear shocks from worldimpex.com and had them shipped to my shop. The price of $100/pair sounded a little too cheap. Well, the shop called today and said that the shocks were used and leaking!

BTW... I just checked their site, and it says that they sell new and rebuilt parts with a 90 day warranty. I don't want rebuilt shocks... these are going back!!

Is anyone else aware of this? TIA.

I dunno man, the stock shocks are so crappy they may have come from the factory like that

indeed! Go aftermarket....better in every way...prbably cheaper too

He's got that "S-line" suspension.

You oughta ditch that whole thing and get some Koni Sports or Bilsteins.

Well, the shop is still installing OEM shocks >>

over the weekend - he's getting another pair from his source $200/pair... I'll deal with whether I want to go aftermarket later.

I need to get the car in good driving condition to drive it down to New Orleans soon!
