Default 2 things....New plugs and code

Just put in NGK Iridium ix plugs, I let it idle for about 3 or 4 minutes and now it seems to be sputtering. Any ideas?


Also vaged yesterday came up with same code before.
17536 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
P1128 - 35-00 - -
See others have this code and posts about it, but havent seen anything about a fix. O2 and MAF replacement??

Unplug the MAF and see if the problem goes away. The ECU will use the default maps.

I have no clue, just got the box and popped them in, doesnt say anywhere on box about gap size

Default That could be the issues right there. >>

I'd take them out and gap them. Then throw them back in and see what happens. As far as the gap specs - search around on here and see what they should be gapped to.

Default well the gap one the ones i put in did look narrower than the ones i pulled out.....

but ok now im stupid where is the MAF to unplug

Default The older one's gap probably opened over time from the electrode burning off.

The MAF is the sensor plugged into the black tube just downstream from the air filter.
