Would I use a bottle of soapy water to check the intake system for leaks??
smaller leaks are obvious, the bubbles are easy to spot, especially if you closely follow pressure guidelines. Too much pressure works against you, causing the bubbles to blow out. You won't see 'em and a leak can go undetected. With large breaks/leaks: the probability is higher that bubbles won't form.
*Keep the pressure low
*LISTEN and look, you can sometimes hear them when you can't see them
*in doubt? most dealers have a smoke injector, smoke makes leaks MUCH easier to spot...
I'm looking for a cost effective smoke generator. The dealer tool is apparently proprietary. So far I've found only "stage" (used in stage plays and theater) and fire fighter training simulators... all BIG $$$!!
