PSA--Good read on the rise of laser and the fall of radar guns/detectors.

Training is still paramount to get a good laser reading -->
The locals here don't know how to use them or they have very poor units. My V1 finds them on 4 lane roads with 6-8 cars in from of me and at distances up to 1/4 mile. I smile as I go by.
I thought as the article states that once my V1 goes off, I'd be caught. Sure, if I'm the only one on the road. But typical use is to snap cars in front of me giving me ample time to change speeds if needed. My V1 is mounted up just under mirror. Maybe I'm getting reflections or it's that 1.5 inch lowered suspension advantage. :-)
The last one was funny. As I went by the cop just looked at me with a sad face and put the unit down from his eye level. He had popped two cars in front of me according to the V1. None of us were going very fast. It's just before a 20 MPH school zone from a 35 MPH zone.
