well since it's snowing here in sunny rochester, discussion time>
those of you who have or have driven regularly both, a torsen AWD and haldex AWD, how would you compare it in the snow, furthermore, how would you compare it for snow drifting, if that's your bag. Would you consider it easier to maneuver a torsen or a haldex?
i'd like to see what becomes of this.
i'd have to say that it's much easier to control an A4 with torsen AWD, than my TT, but the TT is still pretty easy to get sideways in the snow.

what kind of tires does he have. I have the nokian Hakkapeliitta and those grip like a mother. plus it is a tip, so no clutch action to dump it to get it to go sideways. But don't get me wrong, it will go sideways, I just really need to make exagerated movements with the wheel and pedal.
throw it in 2nd or 3rd on a nice snowy lot and jerk the wheel one way, then the other, then floor it, i would be willing to bet you spin around and around.
i have hakkepalittas on my TT and it's ballin. sucha good winter car..
