Default Toe in specs with DEFCONS..what should optimal settings be post alignment.

taking into consideration that the geometry will be vastly different, but for solid straight line tracking, should it be manipulated at all? What would be the best toe setting given the changes from OEM standard ride height or even lowered MK2 settings. Im taking the car in friday for the Defcon install, and this shop comes "higly recommended". They only work on Porsches, Audis and VW's.

Default Sully, I run >

-1.5 neg camber and .15 toe in; great, but next alignment I'll tweak toe out to .05 or .10 (keeping the camber the same). BTW, my camber is slightly 'out of spec'; spec max is -1.28 or so, airc - better for cornering - you could go more. ;-)

Default front, yes, I guess... >

I don't know if rear adjustments on q's affect desired front settings. You're right in spec, btw, as far as I'm aware. Also, you have decent weight distribution - I can't be anywhere near that; my offhand guess is 70% front. :-(

The weight dist. is the result of the corner balance.. sum of diagonals are close to equal.

Default I'm clueless there >

give me a quick explanation on how adjusting the coilovers (I guess?) can redistribute the weight, or what/how do you corner balance??

Default Here's a pretty good description of the concept and how to do it.

Default I too run -1.5 camber. Toe is 0.08 out. car is PERFECT!

i also run -1.5 in rear. so basically i have more than spec'd in front and less than spec'd in rear. front has great grip, rear will rotate when asked. fronts wear just alittle more on the inside edge than rest. not enough to bug me. if you commute only, no need for added camber though.
