I'm down for the mod day. That means I'll have to get a mod.

That looks good - I'm assuming your shop is heated? What do you use?

Default take 35k...... and put it in a hole...... how push dirt over the hole........ ahaah

im building it for a local auto dealership owner. its a 73' super bug w/ a full 944 turbo front and rear suspenion swap. i had to narrow the nose of the car 9" to fit everything. has all new or 100% refinished parts every thing is powder coated and detailed to the 9's! u could eat off the bottom of the car its cleaner htan most freshly wax'd TT's.... has a 914 2.2 w/ the upright fan and such..... front mount oil cooling system..... balh ablh........ and it dosnt run just yet im finishing up the oil and fuel system. i hope to have it runing shortly. iv got to fab up a oil dip stick and dip stick tube that will clear the crazy 360 wrap around exhaust system that is on the motor (hte exhast realy makes a full 360 in the bay its nutty). car even has a hand made leather top!.... i just wish i could steal the brakes and such off the bug and put them on oneof my cars ahahah.....

Default I know what that's like.

I am presently rebuliding my Meyers Manx. After the 914 swap I've broken it in half twice, and now don't trust it to stay together during high speed cornering. I'm constructing my own chassis from the rear torsion housing to the front, full cage, etc. I am sticking with the beetle IRS rear and Link front for abusability. Motor is a slightly warmed over 914 2.0L (GA case, three bolt heads), 0.5" high duration cam that comes in like a light switch, dual springs, etc.

What are you running for induction? I grew weary of my tired Weber IDFs, so am also collecting parts for hayabusa-based FI to hopefully do when the frame and cage are complete.

Default Jess, that is sweet.

Once you install a bathroom, you will never have to leave the garage again!
