6sp DSG....haven't seen anything about a manual 6sp as yet...probably saving that for the R42 >

I'd consider that a lateral move, and I like the looks of my TT better, so no.

Actually, it's DSG only for the US version of the mark 5 R32.

Reviews suggest in many ways it isn't a step forward over the Mark 4 version>>>

obviously a strong performer, and safe, almost unshakeable handling, but just too damn heavy to be really good, as is. What bothers me is how the looks were toned down alot over the mark 4; ugly wheels and that chrome Jetta front just don't fit with what the character of the car should be.
