I had planned on swinging by Nick's since I was in town around noon but felt ill all day and with ~800 miles to drive didn't think a garbage plate would be a good idea. I may try to head back that direction on the way out of the area.

Agreed...saw 2 here and,

I know it is a "better" car stock, and that looks are personal preferance, but I was seriously just YAWN, and the interior (with the exception of the seats) looked generic...well the whole car looked Generic Audi now. The truth to for me was there was a used ALMS Avus on the lot and my eye and (heart) were immediately pulled in the Mk 1's direction.

The Mk 2 btw without the magnetic suspension was 49,500 thereabout's. Yikes! When asked if I wanted to test drive it, I smiled and said "no thanks I like mine" and walked to the Zilla.

Again, not bashing the car or those who prefer it. For me though, Audi missed missed the mark. Hell they missed my whole target.
