Default Farewell my friends

I sold my TT on Friday. It wasn't as hard to let her go as I thought it would be, but I did see one on the way home and got a twinge. I got my 335i as a daily driver and am finally going to realize my dream of having a second, dedicated track car. The thing is, the TT didn't make sense to me for that car (especially considering the mods I'd have had to make), and so she had to go. Not sure if I'm supposed to post this somewhere else, but my 17x8 SSR competitions with PS2s on them will be on the block soon, since I sold the car with stock wheels.

I wanted to thank you all for being so wonderful these past few years, I've met some of you and learned a lot from all of you, so thanks. Hopefully, I'll be back when my 335i lease is up and the RS5 is out...

Thanks again,
Russell

Default Farewell is just passing into another parallel dimension:....

Enjoy the Bimmer. They are good, if arguably not ultimate!

Take care R!

Default Nice! My TT is for sale as well and I may be switching to BMW when I move back to Asia as well.

After driven two Audi's, I want to explore what the other German marques have to offer. Who knows, I may even get a third Audi if I manage to find something I like that is within my budget.

Default Dunno. Looking at a wide range of cars

Somewhere on this huge spectrum:

e36 M3
e46 M3
MZ3
911 996
Elise
996 GT3

It kind of depends on how crazy I get with it. Basically, I can get an excellent example of the e36 M3 for 1/4 the cost of a 996 GT3. It kind of comes down to how ridiculous an amount of money I want to spend and how much track driving I really think I'm going to be able to do...

Default There are pros and cons for both, to be sure.

Thank you, sir! I think it will be between the e92 M3 and the S5/RS5 when my 335 lease comes due in 12/09.

The 335i is less involving but more capable. It will be interesting to learn my/its limits.
