Car goes in tomorrow for DEFCON 2 and Stoptech Stg.II install!
Also having the 42dd cat section installed and all nuts and bolts on the dp from the exhaust mani back to the cat torqued.
Also tire rotation and 4 wheel alignment.

Chip, wait till you feel those Defcons...
you'll wish you had them on the Dragon! And like I said about the brakes, not sure if I just didn't pay attention to how the stock felt, but I didn't notice a big difference in the bite. Though, I'm sure they'll do what they do best on the track! You'll see lots of people looking at them when you pull up at a light... I guess the red color and size draws their eyes to it.

DefCon (1) gave me an edge I opine at the Dragon: I could make maneuvers with high confidence...
that my initial input was going to make the car go where I wanted.
Brakes were les important at the Dragon so long as I was smooth or didn't intrude on someone's 'space'. At Road Atlanta, the StopTech Stage 2 kit is simply PHENOMENAL!

Several reasons, really.
Not the least of which is the fact that my wife is in grad school working towards a degree in Environmental Sciences. It goes without saying that she's very 'green' minded, and I would be sleeping in the garage for a month if she knew I'd been running a test pipe.
Other reasons: I paid good money for it and I've never used it; I'm interested to feel/hear the knock (if any) in performance/sound caused by the cat. If there's negligible loss in both, then I'll likely keep the cat in. If the loss is really noticeable, well...
At least my SIG will still be green ;-)
