My TT's brake lights are not going out even even when car is off!

My TT's brake lights are not going out even even when car is off!
Hopefully someone can help me with this or point me in the right direction.
I just went outside and found that my brake lights were lit and the car is off!
I tried to start it up, I hit the brake numerous time thinking maybe the switch was stuck, there are no check codes and I even tried playing with the ebrake, nothing!
I pulled the fuse for now. I hate to pull the dash apart tonight to look at the brake switch but I am not sure what else to do since I need my car tomorrow!
Any ideas?

My coworker's GTI has a brake light recall. He found out after I told him is brake switch is bad and
check with the dealer to get it fixed. He just got this done yesterday, no cost to him.
Not sure if Audi has something going on, but the switch is identical. Maybe slap a GTI badge in there and visit VW
