Turning off automatic volume control

I've got the Bose premium sound and I want to turn off the auto-volume control. Can anyone fill me in?

If you have a 2003 and up - you can turn off SVC but not Bose Audio Pilot noise cancellation

which adjusts volume as well.

If you have the concert II, you just hold the "menu" button for 3 seconds, the first item that comes up is the SVC. It goes from "off" to "5" when you turn the ****. thats it!

There is a TSB/Mod for this...

Had it done at the dealer which involved them ordering a wiring harness kit but it didn't work too well. While it did cut down on the Audio Pilot's volume adjustment it didn't get rid of it completely. The procedure is described in the eBahn manual if you want to do it yourself.
