Voltage question..
immediately after installing an aftermarket headunit (Kenwood), the voltage dropped to between (13.0-13.5). Both battery/alternator are both healthy. I was accustomed to seeing a range closer to (13.7-13.8) while driving. At idle I see around 12 volts. I have to assume the headunit is constantly under load even turned off. What cha think?

a Clarion 675USB HU shortly in the TT.
You have two power leadsd to the HU, and one is always on. Should have some voltage drop on the system when the car is on, although I'd have to look at how many watts you consumed to make that so!

i just sprung for a solar charger for the car that runs a 12volt outlet to trickle charge the battery....
After 2 weeks + of sitting while on vacation, she fired right off.....Worth the 26$ IMO for cars that sit.
