Thoughts about this car... No haters!
This would be my perfect car if I could afford it. Aside from the crappy steering radius and feel (which can somewhat be corrected) I love this car. My friend introduced me to it back in 2003 when they first came out. By far the most comfortable car I have been in. Intake, chip, dp, and exhaust put this close to 400 to the crank with no lose in comfort or noise (we all know though to the wheels on awd cars is going to be a lot less)!.
2007 (which is rumored the last year for this car) had some body style changes giving it more of a coupe look.
For me it would be perfect because not only could I enjoy driving it, but would feel fine having to take business clients around town need be.

That car is a few miles from me and I will be going in to test drive it (even though I cant buy) just to reassure that its on my list of cars I would buy...

Nice car: I have a local friend who does the show scene with...
a SERIOUSLY modified S60R. I bought his 18" Pegs for my 855 Turbo.
While not my "style", it is a real stealth bomber IMO. Not a knife-fighter, but a great cruiser.

I've always liked it...
though, its usually beat (at least for me) by its competition. The S60R is understated, almost too much so, when compared to rivals and doesn't do much for me personally when its M or S buddies are in similar priceranges.

I've never "gotten" that car...
Usually I can look at a car and know if it will be an instant hit, an acquired taste, or a flop. As for the Quattroporte, I'm on the absolute other end of the spectrum from the norm though. I personally think it's absolutely atrocious and can't really see why anyone would buy it. To be honest, that's the only car I can think of that I've looked and had those ideas even while it's an absolute hit. I understand that its performance backs it up, but even if an Aztek could Lambo-level performance for $10k, I still wouldn't buy it.
I don't get it. Is it the name, the heritage, the exclusivity? Or just because it's part of an ultra-luxurious sport sedan niche?
