2004 3.2 TTR 50k reliability update...

This one is a 2004 3.2 TTR that was delivered in late 2003. I'm approaching 50k on the thing now. Fortunately, Audi extended my warranty by an additional 12k miles due to the many past problems per my request.
For anyone interested, I'm happy to report that this car has been nearly flawless. I've had a slight annoying loud squeal that pops up from the rear brakes when reversing from time-to-time (they still haven't figured out what's up), but other than that, it's been perfect.
I've had people ask me why I stuck by the TT after owning 2 lemons. The answer is that first off, I love the car. Beyond that, I drove my last TT for 60,000 miles, returned it to Audi along with $2,000 and they handed me a brand new car, so how can you complain about that?
Unfortunately, I won't be able to return this one, but it's still looking and running great. As a side note, if there are any of you who have not driven a DSG TT, I'd encourage you to give it a try. There seems to be a bias in favor of the traditional manual transmission and I'll admit to having that same bias until I spent a lot of time behind the wheel of a DSG TT. In a word, it's brilliant!
Since it's paid for and looking and running great, I'll likely be keeping this one for awhile. Let's hope that the next 50,000 miles are as enjoyable and problem-free!
This is my second TT and simply love it :-)
I do agree with you that the DSG grew on me as the miles piled on (I came in with a super traditional manual bias) ... I always drive in paddle mode and it did require some getting used to. Going to a road course this weekend for 2 days of track time and will post DSG impressions later.
