Default touareg torch round 2: those with part number 7LG947175A.: how's the fit?
i have that part number and the fit is dreadful.

eas ttq said he had part number "716947175A" (i'm guessing the "16" should be "LG"), and it fit "fine". so now i'm confused. if there's consensus that 7LG947175A fits fine, then there must be something odd about my cigarette adapter, or some adapter missing from my setup.

thanks for clues.

Default how many different sockets are there for u.s. cars?
is there an adapter i need to go between the N of them?

Default cig. socket in US Spec TT is actually a Euro socket. Rat-Shack had an adapter
P/N 27-1533

I just checked and it's not perfect. There's a little play but it's good enough to charge.
