Default To those who have installed the votex chin spoiler:

I recall seeing an install writeup (was it you, Jeff?) where a rivet was used to hold the vertical support of the piece against the original bumper. Anyway, long story short, I can't find the page or the pictures and mine is starting to peel away, making it look like I've been scraping curbs. Any writeups relating to guaranteed fixes that don't include buying anything expensive are greatly appreciated.

Nope, never used rivets. orig. used the glue, that failed, then totally integrated it.

Default Huh. Well, then I have no idea who it was :-\

I distinctly remember someone attaching the chin to the vertical supports by putting a horizontal rivet alongside the lower grill, but like I said... no idea who.

Default I switched to the 3M urethane products used for glass installation..

Flexes when I hit a curb, yet cuts apart easily when its time for a respray. Can be messy and takes a while to get used to working with, but seems to work well since my bumper has been off 3 or 4 times already.

Default that's actually what I used... 3m windshield adhesive

I agree that it can be messy. My goal with a rivet is to avoid having to take the entire chin off of the bumper and reattach it since there's only this one piece pulling apart, probably due to snow/ice/water getting down in there and freezing.
