painted housings, OSIR smoked corner and reflector delete 90% done (lots of pics)
Btw I used both the heat gun method and oven method both work great, oven method is the fast and easy way to open those headlights up.

reflector came out easy, i used plastic bondo, black gloss spray paint, and and a gloss clear coat.

Headlights went back together easily. The hardest part was making sure not to get any of that adhesive on the painted housing, when putting the housing back in the lens.
Ok now the problem adjusting the headlights when on the car,

As you can see the the drivers side is adjusted perfectly, but the passenger side is off.
Should i adjust the passenger sdie through the grill or the wheel well the get it to align correctly? btw i never messed with the wheel well adjustment on either headlight.

PS. Question time : that front grille looks cool. What did you do for the chrome strips ? Do you buy them, or did you spray 'em up somehow ?
I think I remember looking for 'em on my black Jetta Mk4, but sold the car before I managed to find them.
Just wondering what they'd look like on my Red...hmmmm....thinking time
