My battery drained over three nights, what are the usual suspects?
I know my battery might have expired (3yr old). Just did not get any warnings (cluster acting funny, trouble starting etc) prior this.
Is there something typical that might drain the battery? What is the normal "rest-mode" power usage for the TT?

If it's 3yrs old, it didn't drain over-night, it was going bad all along. Only way to be sure is an
ammeter test.
get a new battery.
connect the ammeter in sereis, like the instructions tell you
read the current draw.
If it's high, you have an internal current draw.
fix it.
Normal "at rest" current draw can be 40-200mA, 200 at the most. any more, and you may have a serious draw.
