Default vag boost measurements..help please....TIA

I have an 01 225 that i replaved the MAF with the VW version a couple months back.

I noticed lately there doens't seem to be as much kick when I stomp on the gas. I recorded measureing blocks for 115 but I don't know how to read the data. According to the conversion charts from mbar-psi, I'm pushing 32lbs of boost. That can't be right. At about 6k RPM VAG is recording 2250mbar. The other weird thing is as soon as I get off the gas it drops to 1050. I would think the turbo would stay spooled up. The engine load at 6k RPM is saying the engine load it 178%.

I know I'm losing some boost from using the VW MAF but does this data sem right?

Default 2250 MB is...>>

about 19psi. You need to subtract atmospheric pressure from the VAG Millibar reading (about 950mb) and multiply the resulting 1.3 bar x 14.5 = 18.85.

Turbo is spooled with out throttle opening, it's just not building pressure (Bled off by the diverter valve). A Boost machine will get you more boost, more of the time with lighter throttle openings..<ul><li><a href="http://www.modshack.info/bm.htm">http://www.modshack.info/bm.htm</a</li></ul>

Default so my butt dyno is just used to the car?

Doesn't sound like i have a leak or torn DV huh..

Default Sounds optimistic then.....>

you should be at 14psi or so on a 225. Is that a spike you're quoting? What pressure reading IC, Man, or Command?
