Bluetooth headset with the top down???
Has anyone found a bluetooth headset that works in a roadster with the top down on the highway?
I've tried a couple and haven't found one yet that is acceptable. I picked up a Plantronic 510 yesterday because the package said GREAT FOR WIND NOISE! NOISE REDUCTION SOFTWARE! I called my daughter and told her I had a new headset and wondered how I sounded. She said "what did you say??? I can't hear you...where are you??? Hello...what did you say?" Oh well...

I had a SE HCB-300, but it's where you place the mike. also, I wired the callers voice into the...
power amp, so I could here them well.
Mike also needs to have some sort of echo canceling, and it needs to be shielded from the noise.
People could hear me OK with the top down.

I haven't found one that works in a windy parking lot, nevermind with the top down.
I just don't answer the phone while driving. Top up or down. Particularly on the highway. Of course my exhaust is a bit loud too.

Try putting a sponge or fabric cover over the microphone. Like they use during windy newscasts...
looks bad, but usually works to cut down wind noise.
We have a BT kit installed integrated with a flip out Kenwood headunit and have the microphone mounted near the steering column. Works ok with the windows up, but people say that it isn't too clear with the top down on the highway. Driving slower speeds ~45mph they say it sounds just fine.
