Default My take

HP+ are good for track, good bite but are noisy

HPS are fine for street, bad initial bite and need heat to start biting, no noise and little dust.

Default strong recommendation for Carbotech Bobcats for street sport use.

Have used these for several years with great braking. Ceramic compound, low dust, lighter color, not a bad squeaker, easy to modulate, safe in cold weather, and more rotor friendly than others.

If you go for a big brake kit, any of the mentioned choices are good, and I have the AP Racing kit, which is excellent as well.
Don't forget some good racing quality fluid at the same time.
Super Blue, Motul, etc.

Cheers,

Rich

Default Akebono Euro

Buy the Akebono Euro Ceramic with the wear sensor connectors. Stopping power isn't as great as stock but the light-gray dust that gets on the rims is much less than the black stock pads and it isn't nearly as noticeable. Overall I'm very pleased with them.

I'd look at some rotors that are corrosion resistant. I've got Brembo on mine but it shows more rust than the stock. I'm considering buying some rear rotors soon; if you come across something let me know.

h ttp://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brakes.jsp?make=Akebono&model=Euro+Ceramic+Pad s

Default Agreed, I use Bobcats on the street in my Stoptechs and they are great. THen I switch to

XP8's for the track. Also great, but I'll likely go to XP10's next time.
