Default Those with Boxster Calipers...

I just put on a set of boxster calipers on a set of drilled brembo rotors that are same size as stock rotors. Only problem is that the pads are only grabbing 3/4 of the rotor leaving about 1/4 an inch near the center of the rotor not being used. Do different pads have different widths and lengths? What size rotors are you gus using if you have the brembos on your car? Thanks!

Default Sounds like..>>

YOu have the wrong rotors for your brake kit. Are the pads hanging over on the outside edge?

Default Yes very slightly...

do you recommend a smaller rotor? it is the same kit as ecs tuning sells stage 2v1. says the rotor is 312x25. same caliper and everything.

Default What pads are you using?

We've seen different pads have different swept areas. It's fairly common with some aftermarket pads.

Default EBC Red Pads

I was just concerned if it would be a problem or not. I'll keep driving and see how it goes. Thank you Mike!

Default Normal, I had that too. The Boxster pad is not as tall as the stock pads and doesn't grab as much

rotor. The annoying part will be the 1/4" thick rust line you'll get where the pad isn't grabbing.
