Wideband O2 sensor?
i have heard that some 2001 year AMU cars are non-wideband? is that true? Also i thought it was necessary to have a wideband o2 sensor to hook up A/F ratio gauges.....http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_electronics_detail.asp?id=198&pageNum= 1
this is my turbo timer and has a feature by tapping into the 02 sensor signal gives you the 02 sensor voltage and A/F ratio
i beleive JustJeff posted a pic of the o2 sensor signal wire(little black wire) what size gauge wire and what amp rating wire should i use to splice into the signal wire? i know i'll have to extend the one coming from the Turbo timer

any recommendation on wire size and amp rating steve? also do i have to use a special connector or just a regular wire splice?
radioshack.com part number 6403053? says for 22-18 gauge wire

Just a light duty wire is fine..>
You're only dealing with 1 volt, almost no amperage. That sounds fine. i didn't even use a connector, but placed the stripped end in the socket and plugged back together. It's worked fine for 5 years now!

sweet thanks again!! hopefully it works i thought it was a very cool feature for a turbo timer...also calculates based on driving how long it will cool down for.
