just think it was the older one...would be sitting up even higher.
i would probably take out the white plastic seat under the rubber bump stop. that should help it out and put it down like 3/8" or so.

its a PITA to get it off. most likely, the center post will be corroded and be difficult to
twist it off. there's a little nub that keeps the rubber bumper from rotating, so you have to release that first. should sit nice after that.
