Idle Bounce
when my car is all warmed up, and the idle is constant, every few seconds the idle drops below 1 to a point where the engine stutters for a brief second, then the idle goes back to normal. I've read that it could be the MAF sensor? my car is under CPO warranty, bought in january of this year. I already made an appointment at the dealer they have to run tests on the vehicle ... will it be covered under warranty? or do i just replace it myself, where do i get the part besides the dealer? ... how do i know for sure its the MAF sensor ??

The dealer will run a diagnostic to see if any maf-specific error codes are being generated
Other than that you can get a Vag-com tool, but it's going to accomplish the same thing as bringing it to the dealer.
Exploit that CPO, having the right dealership means never having to pay any more than the deductible.

Yes.....The **** uses a stock MAF sensor..>>
and needs one that is operating at 100%. Lots of on-line vendors...ECS tuning carries them, but if you can get a free one from your dealer, go that way, THEN do the MS stuff..

thank you so much for the info ... just realized that your the one that makes the intake? pretty damn cool haha ...
hopefully the dealer finds that it is indeed a bad MAF sensor and that its covered under warranty, i don't know why it wouldn't be ... and i'm DEFINATELY doing this modshack intake as soon as my car is back running to normal ...
and maybe that new APR r1 diverter valve and an APR chip?
