Aww crap
This kind of stuff happens too often, and I am kind of busted up about it. I have a good friend that I played in a fews bands with that was an awesome bass player. He suffered with BiPolar disease for many years. He finally had enough and killed himself last week. What a loss! His father should burn in hell, because he told his son he was a loser. All I saw in my friend that he was a good person, and multi-talented. Damn!

Hopefully you're educated on the disease. Keep in touch with them.
I studied psychology extensively in college, and although it has been some time since that, the disease is essentially unchanged, except for the advent of better medications and health management(education in the way of exercise and healthy nutrition). At any rate, the following are some statistics of incidence that might prove helpful in some manner.
