Suspension is finally done and problems fixed>>
Here is the story:
Installed:
Eibachs, Koni's, ball joints, strut bearings and bushing, Defcon 3, 1/2 kmac, new tie rod, axel nut and 4 wheel alignment.
Well the when working on the car CSE noticed a couple problems.
1st- Loose and bent tie rod. Dont how that happened but it was replaced.
2nd- Rear spring had a problem. Looked like it was cracked. Like a hair line fracture in it. Anyone every have that happen? Couldnt imagine if it broke through.
3rd- Axel threads were all messed up. We assumed that when someone before had trouble getting it out they just pounded on it and then cross threaded the axel nut. CSE filed the threads and replaced the nut.
So now the car is back and handling better then ever. The steering is totally tight with the Defcons going around the on and off ramps. Feels like a new car again.
I guess even with the car never being in a accident and being a used Audi certified you never really know what you got. I am just glad to have the car back and safe!
Thanks again to CSE in Oreland, Pa.
