Strange clicking sound since DEFCON 2 and Stoptech stgII install..

the sound is coming from the left rear wheel area. It sounds like there is a pebble inside the wheel that keeps skipping around. It also sounds like a loose valve train sounds. Tickety tickety tick tickety tick... you get the idea.
Upon visual inspection, I can find nothing loose, nor any pebbles in there. The sound is very subtle, but it is driving me nuts. Anyone have any idea as to what the culprit might be?

Chip: I have the exact setup w/o issues. Have you ....

put it up in the air and spun the rims to see if they are rubbing the lines or something else?

YGM on another subject BTW.

Look for a nail in the tire when you do this!

A tick tick tick with the speed of rotation is the symptom..

Already did that. It isn't ticking at steady intervals like a nail would.

There seems to be no pattern at all, actually.

Do you have spacers? What tire size and wheel size

I had the same thing a few years ago when I had 8.5" wheels with wider tires. It ended up being I was rubbing on the strut housing.

That's right, Hans. It seems to stop when brakes are applied, too.
