Beware fellow California "custom" TT cruisers!!!

Check out CHP pamphlet #933 "Street Legal-Tips for owners of custom cars" complete with what appears to be a 2000(no wing)Quattro coupe gracing it's cover, and lots of vehicle code reminders within.
BTW, I've never had the front plate on my Pantera, and never been stopped for it, but wouldn't even try that with my TT.<ul><li><a href="http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html">FTBC is not a crime!</a></li></ul>

I'm all for cracking down on loud stereos...

but then they would have to chase after anyone with a loud motorcycle, and like that's going to happen any time soon.

Miserable farts ! I like the one at the bottom about exhausts - there is

absolutely no guidance as to how many decibels the exhaust system CAN be. All it does say is that there should be a note that says whether the exhaust you are buying "does, or doesn't comply with Californian Law" - and it's down to the discretion of the Officer as to whether your system meets the requirements ? What the f'k does HE know about exhaust systems ? He'll just fine you cuz He's bitter about not having a TT Himself ! You'll have to keep a picture of the box the exhaust came in to prove that it says that it DOES comply with Californian Law.....ridiculous !
