Default POLL: Those running the Greddy RS DV - what springs and what adjustment are you using.....

and are you getting the normal honking? Thinking about trying my Greddy with a new diaphragm, but worried it will still honk, TIA

Try reversing it as heat shouldn't be an issue..

Default both springs, no "turns"... I never tweaked it, I just verified that the

adjustment was turned in enough to hold the spring seat slightly off of the inside of the housing, "freeing" it to work with the springs.

I get a little flutter when I lift at high power.

It's installed with a Forge relocation kit, oriented the same as your picture.

I checked the diaphram a couple of days ago, it's in "as new" condition... perfect shape...

I bought it new, and it's logged 40,650 miles on my car.

"right now" torque after upshifts.... my favorite Greddy RS characteristic!

Default Mine worked perfectly with 1 spring, 5 turns......>

and 12K miles....at least until I sold it to MyTToy, but it looks like he got it resolved...

yes...diaphram DVs should be same orientation as OEM. piston type is just the opposite.

Default i've almost given up on my Greddy. thinking about heading towards a different DV.

so far, i've had...

Forge 006
Hyperboost HX
GFB Stealth FX BOV
Greddy RS

so far, i've had no problems with the Hyperboost HX, so i have it back in. since i'm pushing 26psi, i'm probably at the point where diaphrams are useless.

with the Greddy...before i took it out last week...i was getting fluttering AND honking on a regular basis. i had it set up several different ways. originally, outer spring with 4-1/2 turns. worked fine for 7K miles. then i started getting honking. i tried 2 springs and a 'light' tension. almost constant honking in some instances...light fluttering.

it hasn't been consistent, and since i didn't have the time or the patience to fuss with it...i yanked it out. put the Hyperboost HX back in after i cleaned and lubed it. working very nicely...for now.
