Quesetion about engine fans

I only see the lower passenger fan spinning. I don't recall every seeing the driver side fan on. What is this fan for and when does it come on?

Turn on your AC and open the hood. It should come on.

It'll come on when you're idling, somewhere around 100C >

unless it's broken, or you have a sensor problem, or a few other reasons. Check the temps on the AC readout and go have a look around 98 - 102C.

I just got the car about 75% hot>>

Pulled in my drive way only the passenger fan is going. Turned on AC still only one fan is going. I'm guessing something is broke. Any Ideas?

FCR: fan control relay

While you're at it, make sure you have a current GREEN temp sensor, and that you are not losing water from the "crack pipe" (coolant manifild on left side of block).
