I went to Old Germany after a bmw run/get together in Casselberry yesterday.

First I get my beer and it was HORRIBLE and bitter. I asked the owner (NEW OWNERSHIP) now... if I could get another beer, because it was bitter. He got an attitude, and told me I guess - and had the waitress bring one out. She brought one out, she said "maybe this one is better" with an attitude. (hmmm)

Second, I placed my order along with everyone else and waited. 30 minutes later folks food started to come out. The party of 2 that was sitting next to me from Tampa left about 75% of their food on their plate told me it was horrible :thumbdown: But I figured maybe it was just that they didnt like the german style of food. (this place used to be known for KILLER german food!). 1 hour and 20 minutes later the waitress comes out and tells me my food was the last to be prepared and it would be coming out in 10 minutes. 10 minutes roll by she comes out and tells me that "we don't have your food, I'm sorry but here is your tab". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I had a 14.00 tab and they wanted me to pay for it after 1 hour and 30 minutes, no food, etc? So I went to the owner, and asked him about the delay then non arrival of my food to see about the beer tab. HE had the nerve to tell me that I already complained once about the beer and that was my issue - and that I owed him 14.00 for the beer. I told him I wasnt going to pay for the :beer: as they royaly screwed up my order, and didnt have any customer service. HE proceeds to go to the gentleman that is running the whole bmw meet, and tells him I cursed at him (which I didnt), and that I didnt want to pay my tab. He didn't tell him WHY however. So now I look like an *** because this guys service SUCKS, the food SUCKS, and he wants to Cover his ***?! Plus he tells everyone in there he wants to throw me out. LOL (like I wasn't leaving already) pssh.

Now we get to the best part. This guy ISN'T GERMAN or BRITISH - hes like indian or something. The CHEFS that are preparing your food??? Well one of the guys had long hair, no hair net, and a (tank top) with his arm hair etc.. it was NASTY. I saw this while I was sitting by the service side of the bar (the windows to the kitchen) are right there. (GLAD NOW TO HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FOOD) I finally leave. :thumbup:

We ended up going to Fidlers in Winter Park - where I had the best damn dinner ever! :laugh:

I would avoid this place like the plague! It's horrible! It is not the same as it used to be when the british gent owned it. When he had it the food was good, the service was good, and consistent!
