I was at the track yesterday - the same track as whodkne and MCPAudiTT actually - and was running my brand new Nitto NT-01 track tires. They wore a TON on the outside edges and I realized that I need more front negative camber than my stock setup can give me. Right now, maxed out, I can get only -0.9 degree of camber and I need at least -1.5 or even -2 for these track tires to start wearing evenly across the whole tire.

Coilovers to drop the car will be coming but not for a little while, so for now I am looking for an option for my stock suspension to get me more negative camber in the front without dropping a ton of money. A few options I have found...

Has anybody used the K-MAC plates yet or is the Ground Control the best way to go?

Interesting; I run -1.5 w/o any kits.

 

but I am running at the stock height.

 

understand; airc, stock max 'recommended' is -1.27.

 

any camber change results in toe change as well and needs to be compensated for,for best results. For a real trackside quic (?) set-up you'll need a Smart Camber toos as well as a set of Toe plates..

 

I am looking for something around -2 for the track.

 

I get the camber tool, but how hard is the toe to measure and modify?

I am thinking about doing a different alignment for the track and the street. If anything it will give me practice for future racing setups I will do on future dedicated race cars.

 

And I read somewhere that you sell the ground control kits?
