you wont get much out of a chip in an NA car. i recommend exhaust/intake/valvetrain first.

Default Revo, GIAC....>>

I wouldn't expect more than 15hp though....Not like the gains you can get with a Turbo..

Default As ^^^ said, you won't get big gains.

But Revo and GIAC are your options, both very good companies.

You'll supposedly notice a big difference in throttle response and mid-range power.

Search the MKIV R32 forum over on VWVortex for lots of info on what they think about giac and revo programming- they have the same motor and from what I understand..more or less the same gains and plusses we would see in our 3.2s.

Check VWvortex R32 forums. Some company had a cam/software combo they had good gains off of

I am planning on the Modshack VTDA intake. Am I looking at a bit of a gain with that?

Default Re: still will be a noticable difference.....

chip, intake and exhaust on my R32 made a noticable difference - not quite the same as a turbo car, but seat of pants noticable none the less. Better throttle response and less hesitation.

Default There's a R32 guy who ran a 12.8 N/A

Cams, full exhaust, intake, programming, and some weight loss.

Still pretty amazing for a 3.2L AWD car.
