Two things (Curly had it wrong i guess)

First of all, I finally got my camera set up in car for autocross. broken link, sorry. reposted above.

Secondly, was "chasing" a WRX STi home today on the local twisty and he was unable to pull me on the straights!! In fact, I was easily reeling him in on the turns (driver skill i'm sure, haha) but was also pulling on the straights. Pleasant surprise

I'm careful around the STi, but not frightened-

In good hands, the STi is a giant-killer.

I've outrun my share, but they can handle the tighter stuff a fair bit better than I can. (Firsthand experience behind the wheel of each at the track.)
