Default Trunk Brake Light on the Roadster
I couldn't find a write-up or advice in removing the cover of the brake light that sits centered next to the trunk. TIA!

Default lift up carefully the body-color cover in the middle, work it up all along the edge...
there is a tab at the bottom of the cover that goes into the light base, each side.

lift up and over the top of the red plastic to release the cover.
you will probably break a few tabs releasing this cover, I did.

what red plastic cover? body-color cover exposes 2 torx screws. "red" plastic is the whole display.

I want to remove mine completely & put it just above the lic. plate. What you think ?

Default the "cover" is the light, it's all one unit. You will need to remove the body-color cover to remove
the light.
