Loaner Car for Warranty Repairs?
On top of all that when I asked if I could get a loaner to drive to work his reply was no, because I did not buy the car from them. I thought a loner was included when you had warranty service done at any dealer. The TT is an 04 with only 39,000 miles.
I emailed Audi of America but haven't heard back yet. Is this an Audi policy or just a local Dealer thing? Either way I am not very happy about it.
Anyone have similar experiences?
I am lucky, I always get a loaner and it's usually a nice one. I've had a Q7, A6, allroad, Passat W8, etc. I've even asked for and received an '08 TT MKII (and this was for service on one of my VW's). It helps being in a small city in central Maine. I've also purchased 2 cars from them and bring my 3 cars there for major stuff.
On top of that, as eas ttq states, it's on a first-come-first-served basis. If they don't have one, you don't get one, and it's incredibly rare that a dealership will just hand you the keys to a car off their lot for you to tool around in for a day.
