Shop says I need new sway bar end - one on the front and rear $100 ea
Like everyone else, my front sway bar clunks.
Should I take this time too get new sway bars? Do they come with ends? Just wanted to factor that in to the money equation?
What bar combo is recommended for the rough NY roads?

Swaybar clunks are often the connecting links as your mechanic pointed out. The spherical joints go bad...Easily replaced and not expensive. A front swaybar replacement is an expensive PITA and will require an alignment after. No point in doing that unless you upgrade to a 22mm to go with the new rear. A 19mm rear Neuspeed or equivalent will improve handling.. The front 22 will be somewhat harsher. You may find that unsatisfactory on bad roads. They don't come with ends.
