I think you can either get oem which work fine or IK22's.

Default if you go with the oem plug, the IK20's are the equivalent. IK22's >>>

are for more heavily modded cars..stage 3 Modshack or better....

Default good gapping tool and strong fingers....>>

i usually just use the side of my index finger as a leverage point...big thing on the Denso's is the center electrode can be bent easily..so more pressure needs to be applied to the ground electrode than the center....
Gapping tool should slide between the two with the just the tiny bit of resistance...

Make sense?

Default yessir! been a LONG time since I've done this. Hey, Steve - MAP sensor >

Would a faulty manifold pressure reading cause the N75 to open? Or an accurate reading of excessive overboost? I'm still not getting a real fault code other than misfire (16684 - random multiple and 16685, cyl specific)- which is why I'm going to pull the plugs anyway - to get back on-topic... ;-)

Default I've never really seen one go bad...>>

I would think you'd get a code if it were. If you can't get to the bottom of the misfires (aside from the MAF) be sure to have a good look at the Coilpak harness. Several guys of your vintage have had theirs go bad. (Heat fatigued insulation and shorting) Info and Parts #'s in the FAQ...

Default certainly a possibility >

so much so that I actually hesitate to move it! I'll look later on.
I occurs to me - and this might just be cooincidence - that I did hose-wash the engine bay (*very* low pressure)not too long before this started, fwiw.

I finally feel the boost dumping at the 3k stutter mark - like you mentioned - and I just wonder what would trigger the N75 at a specific rpm/on boost demand (it sort of recovers as rpm increases - not a constant dump) arrgh. Is there a book in the faq for turbo? I have the two you recommended - both on Bosch Engine Management systems...
