Default It's the alternator, stoopid....
From my D-Day un-trip to the Tail of the Dragon:

Jim Ellis Audi confirms Friday that it is indeed the alternator, as I expected. Just nice to know it wasn't something else. InTTruder will be sortied out by late Monday.

Bad news, good news: and at least we weren't on the Dragon where recovery and towing might have been problematical! Still managed to spend a fun day with grandson, and we saw Pirates 3! What's not to like?
