.....so it takes me 1/2 an hour to score a spot.....

also remove and inspect the insulating plastic block from the expansion valve. If the rubber inside looks eaten away ,esp near the firewall side, you def have a leak there.

If it was sudden, doubt it. Check to see if your radiator fans run when the A/C is on.

That was exactly what happened when my fuse blew, so it could be a fan, the control relay or the fuse.

My AC Broke last summer>> It was a A/C High pressure switch>> Located...

Located behind the pass side engine cover, there is a black box with a lot of "plugs" on it and the swich kind of looks like the coolant temp sensor with a wire on the top setting into a metal pipe. My sensor broke, leaked all the freeon out. It was a $300 fix for the: swich, install swich, and freon flush. I had a mechanic do it localy since I was away and don't know anything about A/C systems.

I'm on Long Island, must be a NY thing...
