Happy (belated) Father's day to all the Dads and Gramps :) A shot of our father's day charity autoX
from this pic, with 550 lb front springs and over 1.5 inches of travel before compression, the front outer is still fully compressed when on high grip surfaces (air base concrete) and even only 235 street tires.
So, highest I will go to maintain daily drivability is 650 up front.
But despite having no n75 (i.e. limp mode boost), our TT managed well. I guess the search goes on in trying to figure out WTF is wrong with our TT's boost when heat and/or massive vibration are involved. hmmm.
[edited] our temp gauge was over 3/4 yesterday after 5 back to back runs between me and my wife. I asked her to turn on the A/C in between her last run.
Time of oil cooler and it's probably our W/P is missing a lot of vanes already at 35K miles. I really need to stop slacking and bust out the TB work

Basically what's been done since part 2 was I gut the stock front struts, rebored them to take in the Koni double adjustables, fabricated a **** to adjust bound right above the axle boot, then put everything back together. I also modified my white helper spring to reduce it's contribution and increase overall front rate.
I also tuned my rear shocks so I replaced the blue ones in the pic with some 250lb (softer and longer) ones I got from pitpartsusa.com
Next rev is to get 650 lb springs and install spring collars over my custom front struts.
Everything has turned out well so far, except I have to remove the left rear shock to adjust it. I'll be doing some mods to the underliner so I can reach it better.
