Thanks Gina and Peter and everyone else that organized a great event. Wish I was there a little earlier in the week.

Just turned up the heat on a search for a faster TT for this upcoming technical driving school.

Default Sears Point is not more about power, but balance, suspension and skill...

It's a very technical road course with very few places to apply 300hp. Very common to see lightweight cars like Miatas and Civics catch up to 300/400 heavyweights right after the hairpin into the front straight. Even before getting there, the lightweight balanced cars fly through the esses over 80mph, which is difficult to do with a 3000lb car even with 500 hp.

Enjoy the track with what you have, then use power for Buttonwillow, Laguna or Thunderhill.

Default Hey Rich! I know, but our table cleaned house!

Sorry I didn't stay around to talk more, I was getting so tired, and when that happens, I am not the best at conversation. I started to get very lethargic. I also had to make it back for a dose of the 24 hours of LeMans on Speed Channel.

Default Not yet - we left at 10am and got home at 11:30 pm! We took......

the Highway 96 Klamath River Highway to Arcata, then down 101 to Highway 20 to Highway 5 to 505 and 80 home. LONG day. Had to deal with a car roll over with a fatality on 96 the way home too - sad. Needless to say it was a long day.

Default Agreed...Sears Point keeps you busy all the time...Check guages after turn 6 and then brake

hard for 7. How fast were you going? If you looked... you are probably off track.
