MPG 27.8 WTF?
Well heres the story of how to get 27.8 MPG. My car has been bad. Things started breaking. Fixed them and ever since then every month something would break. Well I gave up.
-Right now my driver side engine fan doesn't work (My fix for now remove the rubber seal piece between the hood and the firewall replace with the small rubber from Steve(thanks Steve) and remove the the engine tray underneath the car. Cuz the car was getting hot 106C) Doesnt get hot anymore.
- Pre-cat o2 sensor has interment issues resistance to high (pulled off VAG)
- Drive side window is broke either motor or lifter
-prob have a boost leak somewhere (I have the tester just haven't got around to it)
Well I was like forget you Audi and the idiots who made the engine bay a oven (what a crappy design) I turned REVO to Stock mode (i have SPS3) and started running 85 octane gas.
I don't drive fast cuz the car isn't that fast now. (But I'm always off the line first no g-pa driving over here)
Every since then I get about 26-28 MPG. No idea why. Even when I drove good on Boost 7 Timing 2 with 91 OCT i could not get over 24.5 MPG.
Ne thoughts? Is my O2 sensor playing games making my car think its getting better gas then it really is?
I just bought cash a 94 4 runner 183k runs perfect mint condtion all the window motors work
and I'm almost to the point with my Audi to say goodbye. I know it would take under $1k to make it perfect again. But I think I would rather make a wheeler and buy a 2003-2005 M3 then deal with Audi's flawed designed.<img src="http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/2285000-2285999/2285155_61_full.jpg">
step 5. note the average MPG on your trip computer
step 6. fill up tank, note # of gallons you put in
step 7. divide current number from trip odometer by number from step 6
if this number is reasonably different than your trip computer's average MPG computation, then your car might be "playing games" with your gas mileage. without that, there's no good way to know.
Lots of waiting in lines= 24~25mpg.
Clear roads and expressways= 26+ mpg
Who knows \_Q_/
