Cross-Country Shipping

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I just bought an 01 TT from a good friend. It's my first Audi, so I'm very excited to be here. My question, the car is currently in Southern California and I live on Long Island in New York. Does anyone have any experience with shipping? I know it's supposed to cost between $800-$1000 cross country, so does anyone recommend any particular company or what I should look out for/make sure of? Thanks in advance.

They shipped the MKII TT's for TT-west. I happened to look out our window when they were loading them up.

I don't know what they'd charge, but they look like a reputible firm ....shipping for Sunset Audi.

Of course, you could always drive the car across the country...lots of great stuff to see along the way! (well, some of the way :-)

thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into Select1 Transport. I thought about taking a road trip because that would be an amazing drive, but since it's already a used car I don't know if I want to put 3000 miles on it right away. Plus, I don't know if I can drive 8 hours a day for 6 days straight, haha. Thanks again guys.
