O2 sensor replacement

Does someone have a good description on how to replace the O2 sensor on a TT? I am not much of a mechanic but am out of work right now.

My advice: Pay Bubba at a muffler shop to do it. Might require a torch to loosen it, plus it needs a

special tool. to remove it.

A typical Bubba at a muffler shop. (your version may vary, but not by much.)

easy, one wrench job.

You can pick up the universal replacement from BOSH (sp?) at any autoparts. While your there pick up a O2 socket. It is a deep well (22mm I think) with a slot cut out for the wire. My TT has two o2 senders, I dont know about all models. Simply remove the one and replace it with the one you bought. The kit comes with the wiring splice or you can resolder the OEM connctor. Its a $50-80 job. GL
