Another Cluster Question

I've had the "one tick hot" issue as well as a completely unreliable fuel guage for quite a while. When it was under warranty, I had the cluster replaced twice.

I've been living with it for the past couple years, becuase I didn't want to spend a lot on replacing the cluster... but the BBA price seems very reasonable.

One additional question that comes up for me: My fuel computer (miles to empty) is also unreliable. Does that still point to the cluster, or does that mean that I have a fuel level sender issue? (Or can one tell without replacing them all?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Could be fuel senders...>

Try the Techron fix and see what happens..

If that doesn't work, Cleaning them should...>>

Is the "Techron Fix" just adding Techron Concentrate to the gas?

Do an intense treatment.....>

Every tank for the next 2 or 3. It's fixed a lot of guys senders and is actually recommmended on the Techron site. Worked for me..

Cleaning/replacing fuel sensors in a Roadster?

Has anybody here done this process in a Roadster. I have heard that getting at the sensors is a big deal, requiring removal of the gas tank, but I don't know. Any experience out there?
